As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this exciting journey, driving iterative development, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the platform's continued growth. Key Responsibilities Delivering Projects and Mentoring : Take ownership of delivering projects, designing systems, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure the team's continued growth and success. Design, Development, and Implementation : Design, develop, and implement solutions using a variety of technologies, focusing on scalability, latency, and resiliency to drive the platform's performance. Estimation and Delivery : Own the team estimation process and deliver according to the estimates, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standard. Code Reviews and Feedback : Perform code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to other engineers on the team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. DevOps Practices : Apply DevOps practices to minimize technical debt and improve release cycles, ensuring the platform remains agile and responsive to changing needs. User Research and Enhancement : Participate in user research to understand customer needs and enhance our ad platform, driving user satisfaction and platform growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Establish strong working relationships at all organizational levels and across functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience), providing a solid foundation in software engineering principles. 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer , focusing on modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), with a proven track record of building scalable, highly available systems. Ninja coding and debugging skills , with the ability to write clean, efficient code and debug complex issues. A passion for metrics and data-driven decision making , using data to inform design and development decisions. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices , including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A solid understanding of CS fundamentals : object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving, with the ability to apply these principles in real-world scenarios. Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in Ad Tech and/or e-commerce , providing a deeper understanding of the industry and its unique challenges. Experience with Scrum, XP, or other agile methodologies , with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) , with a focus on writing robust, testable code. Familiarity with AWS , with knowledge of cloud-based services and their applications.
