About the Role We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer 4 to join our Content Engineering team, specifically within the Content Promotion & Distribution (CPD) department. As a seasoned software engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices that power our content creation and distribution workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-scale, low-latency microservices using gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs. Craft resilient data models that translate business requirements into technical specifications, identifying key entities and their relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of content creation, promotion, and distribution workflows. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance, and scalability standards. Troubleshoot and optimize existing services, leveraging observability tools and performance tuning techniques. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, evangelizing new ideas and approaches within the team. Essential Qualifications Proficient experience with Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, concurrency, multi-threading, and performance tuning. Recent experience with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation. Proven track record of developing resilient data models and translating business requirements into technical specifications. Experience working in a production environment, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git). Strong understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package that includes: A salary range of $100,000 - $720,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
