Job Overview arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join its team. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of Surplus Lines taxes and compliance filings. This part-time opportunity is available to candidates based in the United States and offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: Generating and reviewing weekly insurance payables reports to identify policies that require filings Interfacing with Broker Assistants and Brokers to obtain information or forms required for state compliance Ensuring Surplus Lines taxes and fees are entered correctly and filed with each state entity according to their requirements Providing Surplus Lines record numbers and/or countersignatures as needed Maintaining electronic records of Surplus Lines tax filings and correspondence with state entities Gathering information for regulatory audits and providing documentation to accounting assistants for check or ACH issuance Generating various Excel reports and assisting profit center personnel as necessary Maintaining the PSR Surplus Lines tax intranet and ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent Familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel Technical skills across a breadth of technologies and the ability to interact with both business and technology teammates Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: An Associate's degree in Accounting Previous experience in data entry, accounting, or a related field Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
