Job Overview As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, providing timely and effective support through various channels, including chat, messaging, email, and phone. Your role will be to resolve member inquiries, address concerns, and offer solutions on a wide range of topics, from debit cards and disputes to deposits, transfers, and account openings. You will also be responsible for cross-selling blithequark products and services, identifying opportunities to meet our members' financial needs, and providing expert guidance on our online banking platforms, mobile deposit, and other digital services. Key Responsibilities Efficiently and effectively answer member inquiries, solve problems, and assist with transactions and lending inquiries through digital channels, including email, web and mobile messaging, chat, and text. Provide support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted within a timely manner. Effectively discuss member's needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels. Act as a subject matter expert for all online products and services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat, and Text Support. Maintain a strong working knowledge of blithequark's products and services, staying up-to-date on new developments and initiatives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, as well as at least 1 year of experience in a customer service position. You should have excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong problem-solving and member service skills are also essential, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications While not required, previous experience in a financial institution or contact center environment would be highly beneficial. You should be comfortable working in a sales-oriented environment, with a strong focus on meeting member needs and identifying opportunities to promote blithequark products and services. A strong understanding of online banking platforms, mobile deposit, and other digital services would also be an asset.
