Job Overview The Senior Full Stack Product Manager will play a critical role in driving the development of our products, from conceptualization to launch. You will be responsible for assessing market needs, inspiring cross-functional teams, and delivering business value through the production of high-quality products. As a strategic leader, you will work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your expertise in modern software development practices, agile methodologies, and customer experience will be essential in driving our product strategy and ensuring that our products remain best-in-class. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning (50%) : Develop and execute product strategies that align with business goals and customer needs. This includes: Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats Translating business goals and customer needs into product strategies and priorities Communicating product direction and priorities to cross-functional teams and stakeholders Identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value and making recommendations for improvements Managing and grooming the product backlog to ensure that it is aligned with business goals and customer needs Delivery & Execution (20%) : Oversee the development and launch of products, ensuring that they meet quality and change control standards. This includes: Formulating, testing, and refining assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing Documenting, reviewing, and ensuring that all quality and change control standards are met Creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories and incorporating them into release planning Making product decisions that drive value on a daily basis Participating in standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives People (30%) : Foster collaboration and teamwork across cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and business partners. This includes: Acting as a proponent of modern software development practices and agile methodologies Advocating for the customer and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product and empathizing with user needs Guiding more junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis, and execution tasks Participating in talent acquisition, development, and retention activities in support of the team Managing cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in product management, preferably in a modern software development environment A bachelor's degree in a field related to the job, such as computer science, business administration, or a related field Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and business partners Strong understanding of modern software development practices, agile methodologies, and customer experience principles Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 3-6 years of relevant work experience in product management, preferably in a modern software development environment Experience working with extreme programming (XP) principles, such as paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment Proficiency in conducting user research and testing to understand customer needs Experience guiding more junior team members through product management fundamentals in a professional setting Strong understanding of business and market trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Business Insight : Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals Collaborates : Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Communicates Effectively : Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences Cultivates Innovation : Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful Customer Focus : Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions Drives Vision and Purpose : Painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action Empathy : Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders and being responsive in meeting their needs with the most optimal resolution Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
