Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team in Cleveland, TN. As an RBT with Key Autism Services, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children and families, implementing ABA therapy programs and providing essential support to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using this information to inform and adjust therapy plans as needed Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans, working collaboratively with the BCBA Supervisor to ensure consistency and effectiveness Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication throughout Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to reliability and accountability Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, therapists, and other support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, with a strong understanding of child development and learning principles 1-year ABA Experience, or equivalent experience working in a related field (e.g., Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor) Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel to client homes and other locations as needed Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification, or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families, with a strong understanding of ABA principles and practices University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience, with a desire to pursue further education and training in the field of ABA Tuition discount with our Partners, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members, with a range of opportunities for professional development and advancement.
