Key Responsibilities and Expectations As a Product Principal - Customer Experience at arenaflex, your responsibilities will be divided into three main areas: Delivery and Execution, Strategy and Planning, and Team and Stakeholder Management. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect: Delivery and Execution (10%) : You will coordinate with Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure that the path to scope is known and aligned. This includes reviewing recommended solutions and the work of product teams to ensure products are aligned with arenaflex, stakeholder, and end-user priorities. Strategy and Planning (60%) : Your role will involve partnering with Cross-Functional Programs or Technology Portfolios to align outcomes. You will cascade context up to leadership and strategy down to balanced teams using OKRs. Leading cross-functional discovery by partnering with UX Principals, Distinguished Engineers (DEs), and balanced teams will be crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for the creation, coordination, and sequencing of activities to ensure alignment across impacted teams and providing visibility of the work through holistic roadmaps with dependencies. Team and Stakeholder Management (30%) : You will partner with leadership to represent the portfolio during enterprise planning, coordination, and discovery. Fostering collaboration across multiple teams and portfolios to drive value and identify and resolve impediments will be key. Managing cross-functional team and stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping aligns with product strategy and providing education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience will also be part of your responsibilities. Leadership and Collaboration This position typically reports to a Director and does not have direct reports. However, your influence and leadership will be felt across various teams and levels of the organization. Your ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, convey complex ideas in simple terms, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success. Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Be at least eighteen years of age or older. Be legally permitted to work in the United States. Have the knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Have a minimum of 8 years of work experience. Preferred qualifications include: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
