Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to shareholders, responding to inbound and outbound calls, and assisting with voting processes. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls, and providing clear and concise information to shareholders. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound and outbound calls from shareholders, providing clear and concise information on voting processes and proxy materials Assist shareholders with voting, including understanding how to vote online, by phone, or by mail Answer questions from shareholders on specific items on the ballot, such as board elections, executive compensation, and mergers and acquisitions Provide paper copies of proxy statements and annual reports to shareholders upon request Update shareholder votes and ensure accurate recording of voting information Meet productivity and quality standards, including schedule adherence, call metrics, and QA scores Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a contact center environment Minimum of 6 months of outbound call experience (within the last 24 months) Experience persuading customers to complete a task, such as casting a vote Clear and professional speaking voice, with the ability to work with affluent customers Ability to read and interpret call scripts verbatim Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Teams Ability to use dual monitors and toggle between systems simultaneously Ability to read, speak, and take notes at the same time on a phone call Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry Knowledge of proxy season and shareholder communications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
