Job Overview We are looking for talented and experienced Customer Service Representatives to work on a temporary project with a chance of contract extension. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile government project, providing exceptional service and support to customers of the Florida Department of Commerce. You will be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries, assisting callers with online applications, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Our comprehensive training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role, and our experienced team will be on hand to support you every step of the way. Key Responsibilities Using standard call-center technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues Assisting callers in completing online applications and providing support and guidance as needed Responding to telephone inquiries within set time parameters and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Reporting problems and issues through an easy online system and escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed Responding to written and telephone inquiries from claimants and third-party contacts, and providing timely and effective solutions Participating in training sessions, team meetings, and reviews of internal and external communications to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices Adhering to provided schedules and privacy rules set forth by the programs we serve, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity Completing all assigned training as necessary and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service Filling out timesheets and maintaining accurate records of work hours and activities Performing other duties as assigned by leadership, and being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of customer service or call center experience. You will also need to be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently, and have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Experience working with the Florida Department of Commerce (Unemployment) is highly preferred, and you will need to be able to type a minimum of 20 words per minute and have experience working with a PC and the Windows operating system.
