Key Responsibilities Complies with all specified FDCPA, state, and city laws and provisions, as outlined in the blithequark Compliance with FDCPA and State Collection laws Statement, the blithequark A/R Training program, and the FDCPA Test Makes arrangements with customers to pay balance in full or set up the best possible arrangements Documents all collection activity in the client/blithequark system in a concise and accurate manner Corrects any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by U/M or Manager during telephone monitor, file activity, or QA reviews Maintains good public relations and copes with high-stress environments caused by speaking with emotional callers Adheres to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements Maintains concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals and reacts positively to an ongoing, changing environment Demonstrates the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals Maintains good working relationships with assigned supervisors and coworkers Works safely without presenting a threat to self or others and performs additional duties as required by management Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have: Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions Possess computer/technology savvy with the ability to smoothly operate multiple windows and tabs, while simultaneously providing Best-In-Class Customer Experience speaking to customers over the phone Superb attendance, so you can be there when our customers need us Essential Skills and Competencies In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
