Experienced Customer Service Representative – Airport Customer Experience and Travel Support Specialist

The Role: Crafting Unforgettable Customer Experiences As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch service to our domestic and international customers in our lobbies and at gates. Your duties will include helping customers with ticketing, baggage, and greeting them as they start and end their journey. You will be the go-to person for resolving customer travel issues, making their experience memorable, and ensuring that they leave with a positive impression of blithequark. Your day-to-day activities will be varied, but some of your key responsibilities will include: Providing friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to customers Assisting customers with ticketing, baggage, and other travel-related issues Greeting customers as they arrive and depart, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner Collaborating with other departments and flight crews to ensure seamless customer experience Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions and provide solutions Qualifications: What You Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements: Be at least 18 years old Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent Be comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies Be able to stand, walk, and handle baggage for an eight-hour shift Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Have the ability to communicate with other departments and flight crews Be eligible to acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position Pass a background check and pre-placement drug screen Obtain position-specific clearances, including but not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Service clearances Be available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with mandatory overtime required based on operational need Be able to lift up to 70 lbs Have the ability to obtain required training certifications, perform safety checks, and successfully complete job functions, including but not limited to Ticket Counters, Gates, Baggage, and operating passenger loading bridges Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successfully complete an interview and assessment to meet job qualifications Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance as a crucial function of the position Meet our uniform and appearance standards Be willing and able to work 100% on-site Preferred Qualifications: Taking Your Career to the Next Level While the minimum requirements will get you started, we're looking for candidates who can take their skills to the next level.
