About the Role We are seeking a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our team and help us build a unique, serene MMO game that will captivate and delight players worldwide. As a Senior Gameplay Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining gameplay content systems and data-driven tooling in Unreal Engine, with a focus on the second-to-second or "game-feel" aspects of the project. You will work closely with the design team and the rest of the engineering team to translate designs into polished player experiences and high-performance client and server code. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain gameplay content systems and data-driven tooling in Unreal Engine Collaborate with the design team to translate game designs into engaging and immersive player experiences Work closely with the engineering team to develop high-performance client and server code Ensure the delivery of high-quality gameplay features and content on time and within budget Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in game engine technology and gameplay programming techniques Essential Qualifications 5+ years of experience in gameplay programming, with a focus on C++ and Unreal Engine Strong experience in developing and shipping multiplayer games Proven track record of delivering high-quality gameplay features and content Excellent C++ programming and debugging skills Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote team environment Proficiency in Unreal Engine and a deep understanding of game engine architecture and components Preferred Qualifications Experience with motion programming and animation systems Experience developing games that support touch, console, and mouse input Experience building data-driven tooling with designers Live services development experience Experience with automated testing and continuous integration What We Offer As a Senior Gameplay Engineer at Agile Fox, now part of Netflix, you will have the opportunity to work on a exciting and challenging project with a talented team of game developers.
