Key Responsibilities As a Seasonal Remote Customer Service and Tax Preparation Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting clients through various channels, including inbound and outbound calls and internet interactions. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing inbound customer support, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Assisting customers in preparing their tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Tracking, documenting, and retrieving information in databases to ensure efficient customer service and issue resolution. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Recent experience in tax preparation or a related field. At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a similar industry or role. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED). A quiet, distraction-free workspace at home to ensure productivity and focus. Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously. A desktop or laptop that meets the company's technical requirements for PC and internet testing during the application process. High-speed internet connection (wired, not wireless/hotspot or satellite) and a smartphone. Residency in the United States or a valid U.S. address.
