Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will provide exceptional telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your primary goal will be to deliver an outstanding experience to our callers every time, ensuring that their needs are met with empathy, understanding, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming member and provider calls, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted) to ensure seamless and secure communication. Participate in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex, which includes equipment and software to perform your duties effectively. Adhere to the training schedule (first 6 weeks: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday) and production schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday) to ensure consistency and reliability in our service delivery. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Reside within 50 miles of Charleston, WV, to ensure accessibility for occasional office visits when remote work is not feasible due to technical issues. Demonstrate effective communication skills, both orally and in written form, to interact with members and providers professionally and empathetically. Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, showcasing your ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently. Prove self-sufficiency in a remote work environment, leveraging your organizational skills and discipline to maintain productivity and deliver high-quality results. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working remotely in a call center setting, demonstrating your ability to adapt to virtual environments and thrive in autonomous roles. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare, showcasing your understanding of the healthcare landscape and your capacity to navigate complex systems and processes. Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, laying the foundation for your future growth and development within arenaflex. Compensation and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.15 per hour, reflecting the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions within this job grade.
