Our Teletriage program provides telehealth and triage coverage for facilities across 5 states, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective medical services. Position Summary As a Night Shift Full Time Teletriage Remote Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in our Teletriage program, providing medical services to patients at assigned contract sites according to site-specific protocols. You will deliver primary-care and acute psychiatry services, perform triage services, and collaborate with facility staff, family members, and specialty providers as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide primary-care and acute psychiatry services in accordance with Eventus site-specific protocols and consistent with the standard of care for the specialty of family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine. Perform triage services per established protocol policy, including confirming treatment and telehealth consents, and following Eventus telehealth visit etiquette protocols. Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to appropriately triage needs and provide guidance, treatments, and care to residents of Eventus facilities. Manage multiple messages and prioritize based on acuity, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients, family members, and facility staff. Establish and maintain open and positive communications with facility staff and administration, providing verbal and/or written instruction or feedback regarding medications and other pertinent caregiver information. Be knowledgeable of and adhere to Eventus standards, policies, and procedures, as well as all legal and regulatory agencies' rules, guidelines, and professional ethical standards. Maintain patient confidentiality, including appropriate use of cell phone, emails, text messaging, patient charts, and EMR. Comply with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and maintain multiple practice licenses and comply with each state's practice regulations. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current and valid license to practice advanced practice nursing issued by the state where you are providing teletriage. OR: Have graduated from a physician assistant educational program that is accredited by a National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs and passed the national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants. Current and valid license to practice in KY, IN, or NC, with additional state licenses required within 4 weeks of hire. Specialization in geriatric, family, or internal medicine desired. ALF or SNF experience desired. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telehealth and triage services. Strong clinical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms. Skills and Competencies Knowledge of theory, practice, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care. Skill in gathering and analyzing physiological, socioeconomic, and emotional patient data. Skill in accurately evaluating patient problems and providing appropriate advice, intervention, or referral. Skill in documenting clinical services and using computer technology. Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
