Job Summary As a Lead Member Service Representative, you will serve as a frontline ambassador for our credit union, building long-term relationships with members by understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions. This role requires a unique blend of sales, service, and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve member satisfaction and revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Service: Demonstrate a high level of service and build trust with members by providing timely, accurate, and personalized solutions to meet their financial needs. Build Member Relationships: Identify and build a network of member contacts through various outreach methods, including outbound calling, email, and in-person interactions. Drive Sales Growth: Conduct outbound calling for member service and sales, following our 2/2/2 program, and support credit union objectives by cross-selling additional products and services. Ensure Quality Control: Maintain expert knowledge of the consumer loan process and ensure loan documentation meets quality control standards. Educate Members: Educate members on financial responsibility and processes new memberships and service requests. Support Team Members: Assist in training new team members and cross-training existing staff, and provide support to branch management with scheduling and sales coaching as needed. Complete Projects: Complete projects and reports related to department operations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures. Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial services and sales. Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish preferred. Certifications: NMLS Certification required; CA Notary preferred. Technical Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and related software applications. Nice-to-Haves Experience with Financial Systems: Experience with Epysis, Springboard, and Verafin preferred. Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience preferred.
