Job Summary As a Lead Retail Associate at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. You'll be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to customers on our products and services, as well as promoting our brand values and mission. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, including nutritional values, in-store promotions, and local community events related to animal care and wellness. Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by promoting our products and services, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, both verbally and in writing. Store Operations: Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise. Key Holder Responsibilities: Serve as a limited basis key holder and LOD, as required. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a pet care or animal-related environment. Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds, as required. Preferred Qualifications Pet Ownership: Current pet ownership or experience caring for animals. Animal Care Experience: Experience working in an animal care or veterinary environment. Leadership Experience: Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Skills and Competencies Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional experiences. Product Knowledge: Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
