About the Role As a User Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our high-impact Support team, providing expert assistance to our growing community of creators and subscribers via live chat and email. This fully remote role offers a flexible Tuesday-Saturday schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and maintain a healthy work-life balance. We're looking for candidates who are ideally located in the United States and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, expert support to blithequark creators and their subscribers via email and live chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their queries and concerns. Manage live chat coverage for up to 50% of your time (or 4 hours per shift), responding to user inquiries and providing solutions to technical support challenges. Attend daily team meetings and contribute to team operations (up to 20% of your time), collaborating closely with the Support team and other colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently. Spend the remaining time providing support via email, ensuring that all user queries are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Demonstrate urgency and discernment when escalating user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Stay up-to-date with the latest product and company updates, using the blithequark app frequently and maintaining a deep understanding of our platform and its features. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: A passion for helping people and a rewarding experience in solving their problems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Comfort with ambiguity and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. At least 2+ years of experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams, including experience with live channels and technical support challenges. Alignment with blithequark's mission to build a new economic engine for culture, and experience as a blithequark subscriber (experience as a creator is a plus!). Familiarity with Zendesk and Stripe is a plus, as well as direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe).
