Our mission is to create a better future for our clients, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Training Specialist to join our team. Job Overview As a Technology Training Specialist at Brilliant Corners, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the Data and Technology Department's training program for our technology platforms. You will design and deliver high-quality training materials, facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver basic and specialized technology training based on the needs of the organization and end-users Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtual, managing logistics, scheduling, and ensuring smooth delivery Design and expand learning resources, including user guides, instructional materials, and self-study documents Interface extensively with internal management to identify training needs and priorities, and design effective training plans to address those needs Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify content as necessary to ensure continuous improvement Collaborate with the Product Development team on updates and additions to software where end-user training is required to ensure successful user adoption Develop and modify training assessments and evaluations with an eye toward quality improvement Monitor and report on training attendance, metrics, and outcomes to track progress and assess the impact of training initiatives Conduct skills and knowledge assessments for staff members to identify areas for growth and development for technology Collaborate with the Learning and Development unit on org-wide trainings, including onboarding Research new and existing functionality of training software and tools that would improve the training experience for end-users Perform other job-related duties as assigned, taking on additional responsibilities and contributing to the overall success of the Data and Tech Department Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of one year of experience in a training or education role, preferably in the non-profit or social services sector Strong project management, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills An ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Excellent public speaking and comfort presenting in various settings (e.g., virtual, town hall, training, etc.) to a wide variety of stakeholders Excellence in developing relationships and strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others Comfort with graphic design for the purpose of making information attractive to different audiences; experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, or other presentation software Experience using e-learning software, such as Articulate 360 Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Knowledge of CRM, CMS, HRIS, and ERP platforms and how they are used across a complex organization Salesforce experience Direct experience with homeless service providers and/or supportive housing providers Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn new software and technologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to express technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Superior ability to improvise and find solutions on the spot without losing your cool Dealing with Ambiguity: remains productive and effective in uncertain, rapidly changing situations by quickly analyzing information to adapt approach Technical Learning: quickly learns and applies new technical skills, knowledge, and industry expertise Problem-Solving: uses critical thinking to creatively investigate issues from diverse perspectives Total Work Systems: designs, implements, and improves organization-wide systems to enhance quality and efficiency Organizational Agility: understands how the organization operates through formal and informal structures Customer Focus: proactively understands and meets others' needs through a service-minded approach Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Brilliant Corners, we are committed to the growth and development of our staff.
