About the Job We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Examination group, where you will play a key role in driving estimation, system, and strategic decision-making across the organization. As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will utilize your quantitative background to coach different researchers and dive into massive datasets to drive navigation. Your expertise will be crucial in tackling exciting challenges, including customer acquisition, fraud and support, marketing, balancing organic market, new city launches, marketplace efficiency, and more. Key Responsibilities Utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to see past the numbers and understand what drives our business Build full-cycle analysis trials, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools Work with and mentor junior experts on how to use advanced techniques and address challenges Generate recommendations and use statistical procedures and hypothesis testing to validate your findings Provide insights to help business and product leaders understand marketplace dynamics, customer behaviors, and long-term trends Identify and measure levers to help move key metrics and make recommendations Work backward from understanding and measuring problems to ideating solutions Report against our objectives by identifying key metrics and building executive-facing dashboards to track progress Collaborate with engineering to implement, report, validate, and monitor our logging Essential Qualifications A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar field 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related role Experience working with pipeline optimization, customer segmentation, peer analyses, time series analyses, regression models, and more Mastery of SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages, such as Matlab, R, SAS, or Python Proficiency in at least one analysis and visualization tool (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau) The ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques Experience with data visualization tools and techniques Strong communication and presentation skills Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting our employees' growth, diversity, and overall well-being.
