About the Role We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state, federal, and company policies and procedures Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and perform other duties as assigned Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers and adhering to state and federal regulations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). You must also have a strong foundation in math, with the ability to accurately fill prescriptions, count, measure, and weigh medications. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting Previous work experience with arenaflex or a similar company Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate pharmacy systems and perform data entry tasks Knowledge of store inventory control and management principles Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
