Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of medical services procedures and driving patient wellbeing results. You will execute patient intervention pharmacy programs and ensure compliance with clinical pharmacy services. As a remote customer support pharmacist, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing expert advice and guidance on medication use, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for processing prescriptions from a remote setting, conducting data and clinical reviews, and making strategic decisions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Key Responsibilities Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. Drive the execution of various marketable strategies and ventures to guarantee business needs are being met. Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, assessing, and re-designing processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes. Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines. Drive regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance. Support efforts on enhancing patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs). Provide expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field management. Conduct data and clinical reviews and make strategic decisions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Review drug accounts and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment. Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation. Win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns. Give feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations. Be liable for all inquiries, transactions, and issues which relate directly to patient treatment. Provide clinical consultation and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as necessary. Essential Qualifications Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority. Experience advancing colleagues to research and resolve issues. Experience working with confidential information. Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends. Experience using time utilization skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple tasks with varying completion dates. Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary. Knowledge of insurance plans. Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus. Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets). Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show). Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and section width, formatting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print functions).
