You will utilize your computer skills for data entry, gather and review patient billing and medical information, and operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program. Your goal will be to provide positive customer service and empathy, while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist with medically related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and medical professionals Utilize computer skills for data entry, gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient, providing timely and effective solutions Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest level of data security and integrity Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, with a patient-focused attitude and the ability to provide positive customer service and empathy. You will also need to have strong verbal communication and active listening skills, as well as basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred).
