Job Overview As a First Notice of Loss Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to policyholders who are reporting losses or damages covered by their arenaflex policies. Your primary responsibility will be to gather essential information, assess the initial claim validity, and ensure a seamless and empathetic experience for the policyholder. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from your preferred location within the Southeast region. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for policyholders reporting losses or damages, providing clear and concise guidance throughout the process. Gather relevant information, such as policy details, incident specifics, and contact information, to facilitate a smooth claims experience. Clarify coverage terms as needed, ensuring policyholders understand their policies and the claims process. Offer empathetic support and guidance to policyholders on next steps in the claims process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Explain the required documentation and information needed to process the claim, ensuring policyholders are well-informed and prepared. Accurately record all information gathered during the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) process in arenaflex's claims management system, ensuring completeness and accuracy of claim reports. Liaise with claims adjusters and inspectors to schedule assessments and inspections, if necessary, providing them with detailed information regarding the reported loss. Address any concerns or questions policyholders may have, ensuring their experience with arenaflex is positive and supportive. Ensure all FNOL processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity. Provide feedback to management on ways to improve the FNOL process for enhanced customer satisfaction and efficiency, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is highly desirable. At least 1 year of experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and empathetically. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required, enabling you to provide support to a diverse range of policyholders. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes, which will enable you to provide more informed support to policyholders.
