As a singular patron, this role exercises significant judgment to make decisions that drive consistent revenue, utilizing aspects of our organization and corporate client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a focus on corporate travel management. Key Responsibilities Act as an informed authority for Travel Management Company (TMC) business for arenaflex. Build key business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel value propositions for arenaflex. With minimal direction from authority, exercise extensive judgment to manage the pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements aimed at achieving the highest market share and yield possible in individual markets. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-official agreements. Analyze revenue, limits, and agreement performance to ensure objective compliance and profit. Build key business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel value propositions for arenaflex. Develop marketing-related promotions to assist with driving sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business loyalty teams. Manage the setup of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordination with pricing. Plan business growth and lead development of other agency accounts through collaboration with revenue management team to ensure exceptional entries are filed accordingly and drive expected revenue per the specifications of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and to develop a strategy to ensure the organization is positioned suitably in the market. Monitor revenue, commissions, and agreement performance to ensure maximum revenues and sales objectives are achieved. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex. Prepare and execute local sales plan in accordance with corporate sales targets and ensure arenaflex is strategically positioned among its competitors and leverages its position in the marketplace. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior airline experience. Prior exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with different teams and workgroups. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts caused by competing needs.
