Job Overview The Operations Process Manager will be responsible for managing store operations processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes that enhance the overall customer experience and contribute to the bottom line. This role involves partnering with the Operations Strategy Team and other stakeholders to drive major process improvement initiatives, analyzing problems, and communicating effective solutions to the team and the field. Key Responsibilities Analyze the fundamental components of problems and communicate the correct course of action to the team and the resolution to the field, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution. Develop and implement changes that improve overall store operations processes, adding value to the stores' bottom line and enhancing the customer experience. Manage day-to-day processes related to areas of responsibility, create and maintain project work plans, and ensure successful execution of strategic projects and initiatives. Manage issues and roadblocks that arise, responding proactively to unanticipated store needs and collaborating with the field and other stakeholders to find solutions. Communicate effectively and build strong, effective partnerships with the field, stores, and throughout arenaflex, ensuring alignment and cooperation in achieving business objectives. Prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on multiple analyses of industry, business, competitive landscape, and consumer data, providing actionable intelligence to inform business decisions. Provide guidance and training specific to areas of expertise, assisting in collaborating findings from data and making verbal and written recommendations to drive business outcomes. Maintain a knowledge base regarding specific operations and processes within store operations, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Responsible for the selection, terminations, performance appraisal, and professional development of support team members (Business Analysts), fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Leadership and Team Management The Operations Process Manager will typically have direct and indirect reports, including 2-5 Business Analysts. This role requires frequent persuasion or influencing of others, assigning and reviewing work, and determining priorities and defining what should be done and how to do it. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve exceptional results. Travel and Physical Requirements This role typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with preferred experience in retail or process management in a related area. Minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Preferred qualifications include: PMI certification. 3 years of retail experience or process management in a related area. Strong business, functional, and/or store knowledge for their area of responsibility. Leadership and management experience. Strong operations, retail, and/or field experience. Ability to partner and communicate well with the field and stores. High sense of urgency in responding to field needs. Strong big-picture and strategic thinking skills. Strong quantitative skills, such as statistics and data analysis.
