Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing our financial data on the Xero platform. Your primary focus will be on data entry, payment reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. As a skilled bookkeeping professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting our financial management team in making informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter contact lists from one platform into Xero, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Unreconcile and re-reconcile payments on Xero with the correct Tax Rate, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in financial reporting. Remove, unreconcile, and re-reconcile payments on Xero as required, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and attention to detail. Complete all tasks within a timely manner, approximately 6 hours, to ensure seamless financial operations and minimal disruptions to our business. Collaborate with the financial management team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to data entry and payment reconciliation. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and Xero platform updates, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our financial management processes. Essential Qualifications Proven experience in data entry and bookkeeping, preferably in a similar role or industry. Advanced proficiency in Xero, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the financial management team. Preferred Qualifications Certification in bookkeeping or a related field, such as a Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) designation. Experience with other financial management software or platforms, such as QuickBooks or MYOB. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
