Position Summary In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring route status and providing required information using Transportation Management Systems and electronic resources such as web portals and email. You will have two days off per week (one weekday and one weekend). We offer multiple shifts to accommodate your needs, including: 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm - P/T Shift 2-3 days/4-8hr shift 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am - P/T Shift 2-3 days/4-8hr shift Initially, this position will be located at our corporate campus, which is 7 miles south of the city of Reading. Training will be conducted on 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm, with potential opportunities for remote work once completed. Major Responsibilities As a Customer Service Coordinator at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Acting as the first line of contact for customer's routine reporting requirements, providing status updates as needed Communicating effectively with customers and drivers, providing concise instruction and/or information through verbal and written communication methods Answering and processing requests received through inbound calls and emails in a timely manner Monitoring routes for exceptions/abnormal route conditions, and providing timely feedback to internal and external customers Escalating all non-routine customer inquiries appropriately to solve operational issues Serving as the primary contact for data collection, audit, and reporting of various performance metrics Supporting root cause analysis, use of reporting tools, and Key Performance Indicators Other projects as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous customer service experience High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's/Bachelor's is preferred Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete blithequark employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required Physical Requirements The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
