Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team in Princeton, NJ. As a Member Service Representative, you will be the frontline support for Aetna Medicaid members and providers, providing exceptional telephone assistance and ensuring an outstanding experience for every caller. Your role will involve addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards, among others. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support. Key Responsibilities Answering inbound calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted) to ensure secure and reliable service. Participating in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex to ensure proficiency in our systems and processes. Maintaining performance standards, meeting attendance requirements, and achieving call quality goals. Communicating effectively with members and providers both orally and in written form. Demonstrating self-sufficiency and the ability to work from home with minimal supervision. Occasional commuting to the Princeton, NJ office may be required in cases of prolonged technical issues. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Must reside within 50 miles of Princeton, NJ, to facilitate occasional office visits when necessary. Ability to commit to the initial 6-week training schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Following training, the standard production schedule will be 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with members and providers. Capability to meet performance metrics, adhere to attendance policies, and maintain high call quality standards. Self-motivated and able to work from home with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a remote call center setting, preferably in a health care or insurance environment. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs and their operations.
