Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: Starting as a basic CSR Phone Agent, with the opportunity to transition to making calls on early stage delinquencies Collecting payments on live and terminated accounts via phone pay, quick collect, and letters, using excellent customer service skills Negotiating payment solutions when customers need assistance, and following up on pending actions or expired payment arrangements Providing excellent customer service while handling incoming calls from external and internal customers, with a focus on phone courtesy Managing a queue of assigned accounts, and performing skip tracing activities to locate customers and collateral when necessary Collaborating with internal and external groups to resolve escalated customer issues and/or complaints Offering feedback and recommendations on process improvements and training materials Maintaining corporate standards and compliance requirements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Collections environment, with a focus on the automotive industry a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Familiarity with the automotive industry, including lease end charges, mileage, wear and tear, property tax, and deficiency balances Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on customer service and support Knowledge of collections and recovery processes, including skip tracing and repossession procedures Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems, including phone pay and quick collect Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills , with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced environment , with a focus on customer service and support Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information , with a focus on corporate standards and compliance requirements Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
