Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our annuity customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing education on annuity contracts. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to build rapport with customers, deescalate concerns, and ensure a positive experience. With a focus on quality, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations, you will maintain accurate records of interactions, identify process improvements, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Handle approximately 50-90 customer interactions per day, responding to inbound calls, emails, or other channels of communication Provide accurate and timely information to customers, utilizing multiple resources and staying up-to-date on annuity products and services Build strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations, ensuring the security and integrity of customer data Meet department metrics and quality standards, continuously striving for improvement and excellence in customer service Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations teams, to resolve customer issues and improve processes Participate in ongoing training and coaching, staying current with industry developments, products, and best practices in customer service Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED, supplemented by 2-3 years of general client service experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping, servicing, and educating others, while utilizing analytical skills and attention to detail Optimism, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to complete research and stay up-to-date on industry developments Organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer navigation skills Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines, with a strong commitment to quality, confidentiality, and compliance Technical Requirements To work from home effectively, you will need: A dedicated workspace that is conducive to being on the phone throughout the day Internet bandwidth of at least 12 Mbps, with a preferred speed of 25 Mbps A reliable computer and phone system, with a headset and webcam for virtual interactions Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
