Job Overview As an Email/Chat/Phone Specialist (Nights and Weekends) at arenaflex, you will be on the front lines of representing our brand, engaging with hundreds of customers who share our passion for live events. You will provide proactive, friendly, and high-quality service to our customers, answering questions, troubleshooting technical concerns, and utilizing internal and external technology to manage order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Handle customer contacts promptly and professionally via phone, email, and live chat Answer questions about purchases, orders, inventory, and upcoming events Support our customers proactively, utilizing internal and external technology to manage order fulfillment Contribute to a positive team culture and growth, participating in team meetings and sharing knowledge and best practices Create memorable experiences for customers who share our love for live events Role Expectations and Progression In the first 30 days, you will complete new hire orientation, learn about ticket marketplaces, and acclimate to team and company norms. You will gain access to our internal systems, shadow teammates, and document your learnings. As you progress to 90 days, you will perform core responsibilities comfortably on your own, maintain internal and external relationships, and contribute to our approaches and technologies. By 180 days, you will apply methods to execute individual tasks that positively impact the team, handle front-line customer escalations, and participate in extracurricular projects that contribute to the success of the organization. Essential Qualifications 1-2 years of customer service experience via phone, email, and live chat Team player mentality and drive to contribute to culture and growth Sense of curiosity to ask questions and keenness to improve upon work Passion for live events (sports, concerts, or theatre) Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Zendesk or similar help desk software Previous experience in the live events or ticketing industry Knowledge of customer service metrics and KPIs Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will need to be proactive, flexible, and adaptable, with a strong sense of curiosity and a drive to improve upon your work. You will also need to be proficient in using internal and external technology, including help desk software and customer relationship management systems.
