About the Role The Online Chat Specialist will be responsible for engaging in online conversations with site visitors, responding to queries, and providing prompt and accurate service. You will be the face of our company, representing arenaflex and our clients in a professional and courteous manner. Your primary goal will be to ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolving their issues efficiently and effectively. You will be working closely with our Online Chat Manager and will be expected to provide regular feedback and insights to help us continually improve our service. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary Build relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately Promote interest in client products and services Consistently achieve established standards of the position Continually portray and project a positive and professional image Provide administrative support to the customer service team Assist with overflow work and other duties as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment PC keyboarding and internet experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor Articulate and well-accommodated to a client-facing role Ability to compose professional emails Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications) Upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing role Experience with online chat software Knowledge of website navigation and troubleshooting Basic knowledge of HTML and web development principles Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
