Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for many patients, providing them with the support and reassurance they need during challenging times. Your role will involve answering incoming calls, gathering and verifying demographic information, identifying patient needs through active listening and empathy, and documenting interactions with precision. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and solve problems will be invaluable in this position. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming healthcare contact center calls, offering support and guidance to our community seniors. Gather and verify demographic information using our standard computer software and systems. Apply problem-solving skills to identify immediate caller needs, including potential crisis situations, and route calls to the appropriate resource according to our operating procedures. Document all call information accurately and according to approved protocols. Utilize effective verbal communication strategies to elicit information, build confidence with callers, and provide reassurance. Accurately identify callers' presenting concerns and document them as per protocol. Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics, including maintaining punctuality and high attendance standards. Position Requirements and Skills To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare call center environment. Essential skills include active listening, empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving, with a focus on first-call resolution and building value for the customer. Familiarity with Google Suite applications and experience with data entry and call documentation are also required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
