Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark 's proprietary data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Research and obtain missing prescription information, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements. Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Resolve third-party rejects by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements. Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including the ability to start up and shut down a PC, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access information online. Basic web navigation skills, including the ability to open a browser, type URLs in the correct location, use a search engine, bookmark a webpage, navigate back/forward/stop buttons, and complete forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
