Job Overview In this remote position, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to build strong relationships with our members and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with empathy and understanding. Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions. Utilize proprietary arenaflex systems to look up member information and provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department, ensuring that all customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue, such as claims or authorizations, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our processes and procedures. Manage time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is done in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding minimum key job accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position. Document all calls appropriately, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions. Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support. Qualifications and Core Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a minimum of one year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred. You will also need to demonstrate basic computer skills, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner with our members and internal stakeholders.
