Job Description Location: Colchester Office (3 days per week) About the Role As a Customer Operations Specialist at blithequark, you’ll be the vital link between the organization and valued clients. You’ll deliver exceptional service that enhances blithequark’s reputation while supporting both internal and external Publishing and Events customers. Your Impact You’ll create outstanding customer experiences by: Delivering blithequark’s signature ‘Gold service’ standard to all customers Resolving inquiries efficiently through multiple communication channels Processing orders with precision while maintaining appropriate margins Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams Managing customer access to online resources and systems Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks, including: Customer Communication: Handling inbound/outbound calls and correspondence professionally, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with care and attention to detail. Order Management: Processing and amending customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. Problem Resolution: Utilizing relevant systems to address and resolve customer requests, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and issues. Data Management: Recording customer information with precision, maintaining quality standards and ensuring that all customer data is accurate and up-to-date. Access Management: Supporting customers with online access needs directly or through appropriate channels, ensuring that all customers have access to the resources and systems they need. Financial Processing: Handling aspects of Order to Cash, including Cash Applications and Credit Control, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed efficiently and effectively. Relationship Building: Developing strong connections with business teams and customers, building trust and rapport with key stakeholders and ensuring that all relationships are managed effectively. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and support to internal and external customers. Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP experience preferred, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
