About the Role We are seeking an experienced Metrology Ops and Customer Quality Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working closely with our customers to understand their needs, and developing innovative solutions to meet those needs. Your expertise in metrology operations and customer quality will be instrumental in driving our company's success and growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs Conduct metrology operations, including data analysis and reporting, to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication Develop and maintain technical documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions Provide training and support to internal teams on quality procedures and processes Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality engineering or metrology operations role, preferably in the semiconductor or display industry Strong understanding of quality control principles, including statistical process control and lean manufacturing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop creative solutions Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field Experience with quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations, such as SEMI and JEDEC Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including statistical software and data visualization platforms Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
