Job Summary As a Caregiver/CNA with BrightStar Care, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in their homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. We are seeking experienced caregivers and CNAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation, to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients Run errands and perform other tasks as needed to support clients' daily needs Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or issues to BrightStar Care staff Maintain accurate records of care provided, including notes on clients' condition and any issues that arise Essential Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent Must have some experience as a caregiver or CNA, although we will provide training for the right candidate Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle Must be willing to submit to a background check and pass a drug test Must have a smartphone and be able to use it to communicate with BrightStar Care staff and access client information Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in home care or a related field CNA certification or other relevant certifications, such as CPR or first aid Ability to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Skills and Competencies To be successful as a Caregiver/CNA with BrightStar Care, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Compassion and empathy, with the ability to provide emotional support to clients Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing client needs and schedules Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and report any concerns or issues to BrightStar Care staff Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At BrightStar Care, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
