Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Benefit Development and Backing team, you will provide critical support to our business operations, leveraging your analytical and technical skills to drive informed decision-making and process improvements. This is a remote opportunity, offering a competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour and a flexible schedule of 8 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre- and post-analysis of client programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing projects to inform business decisions and drive growth. Design and execute A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of pilot programs and initiatives. Maintain and update business tools and models, such as BPM or Course Planning models, to ensure alignment with business requirements and optimize performance. Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and develop solutions to address these issues and improve overall efficiency. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions, and provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed. Model business scenarios using recognized data sets and business needs/requirements to inform strategic planning and decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI, to provide insights and support business decisions. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or estimation. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities. Data education and information literacy, with experience working with data visualization tools and techniques. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement, with the ability to balance long-term and short-term needs and manage multiple complex projects. Strong change management skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach to driving growth and improvement. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, simulations, solver, and SQL. Statistical analysis experience using R or similar tools. Knowledge of Edge Miner (Notable Intelligent Digger) or other data mining/sales reporting tools. Experience with SharePoint and other collaboration platforms. Operational understanding of selling, distribution, warehouse, and production processes. Project management or consulting experience, with a focus on driving growth and improvement.
