Job Overview As an Associate Network Security Engineer – IT Data Security and Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functional sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports blithequark's applications, customers, partners, and vendor accessibility and security. Your expertise will be essential in providing design services and support to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the enterprise data and applications. Key Responsibilities Provide IT support for inner, partner, vendor, and external accessibility to blithequark applications across multiple critical data center foundations Ensure IT support for firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure Support enterprise remote access clients to align client edge security technology with and client-organized specialist on workstations Collaborate with blithequark's business divisions via conference services responsible for firewall policies and access control guidance Provide operational on-call support of critical facilities and infrastructure components for Network Security Support the IT Data Security Division to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the enterprise data and applications Suggest and implement departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and regulations Project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital upgrades, renovations, and improvements Ensure accurate documentation, obtain the best product and service prices, and ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments Support on-call responsibilities to ensure Enterprise applications and Customer services are available at 99.999% SLA Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have a strong understanding of networking and security concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. You should also have experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud, as well as investigating and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to the managed security appliance and its integration with other systems.
