About the Role The Director of Customer Success and Strategic Account Management will work closely with various departments, including Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Product, to minimize attrition and maximize growth potential while maintaining accurate forecasting. This position works remotely and reports to the Chief Customer and Operations Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sales, Renewals, or Account Management, with a proven track record of negotiating transactions and resolving contractual issues. Key Areas of Responsibility Build strong relationships with the leadership team and get buy-in to drive customer success and growth Proactively identify potential attrition risks and engage with customers and internal stakeholders to minimize or mitigate these risks Provide accurate 90-day rolling forecasts for assigned renewals and maintain renewal opportunities and upsell opportunities Leverage existing processes and reporting to drive early identification of potential attrition and lead the creation of new methods for early engagement Create replacement contracts and detailed quotes with approvals, and provide regular status updates to the Customer Success department Provide guidance to the extended team on optimal resolutions for addressing common renewal, growth, and contract issues Maintain a strong understanding of the blithequark Hiring platform value to identify new opportunities for growth and close opportunities surfaced by Customer Success Managers Work cross-functionally to deliver an incredible customer experience and manage a high volume of engagements concurrently Who You Are To be successful in this role, you will have: 7+ years of experience and demonstrated success in a Sales, Renewals, or Account Management capacity with a strong focus on negotiating transactions and resolving contractual issues 3+ years of experience leading a team of Account Managers and/or Customer Success Managers A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience High level of proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, and experience with a Customer Success Platform Proven track record of quota attainment and excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical background with proven problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex situations clearly and credibly Adept at building strong networks and relationships, and a strong self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive workplace.
