Key Responsibilities As the Associate Director of Customer and Product Insights at blithequark, you will be responsible for: Defining and prioritizing the research roadmap in collaboration with brand and product team leaders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Managing, mentoring, and coaching direct reports focused on specific work streams to ensure high-quality insights work and drive team growth and development. Conducting hands-on research and storytelling during team growth stages as needed to ensure seamless delivery of insights and recommendations. Overseeing vendor partnerships to leverage quality research methods and manage research budgets efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI on research investments. Collaborating with Marketing Insights leads to build an integrated understanding of customers and market dynamics, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Forging relationships with adjacent insight, analytics, and intelligence teams to enhance market understanding and operational efficiencies, and to drive business outcomes. Representing customer insights in leadership forums to inform decision-making and action planning, and to ensure that customer needs are at the forefront of business strategy. Providing regular feedback, coaching, and direction to team members to ensure they meet expectations and drive business objectives, and to support their ongoing growth and development. Promoting engagement with business senior leadership as consumer champions, and ensuring that customer insights are integrated into business planning and decision-making. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Eight or more years of relevant experience in marketing, customer experience, or user experience research, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality insights and driving business outcomes. Experience designing qualitative and quantitative research programs to address business needs, including the ability to develop research questions, design methodologies, and analyze data. A strong command of advanced quantitative methodologies such as maxdiff, conjoint, segmentation, and cluster analysis, and the ability to apply these methodologies to drive business insights. Experience with qualitative research methods including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnography, and the ability to design and execute these methodologies to gather rich and nuanced customer insights. The ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable insights, and to communicate these insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Four or more years of experience managing a team of three or more people, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Experience providing insights for value proposition development, and the ability to apply customer insights to drive business growth and innovation. Experience leveraging secondary data and trends to provide business context, and the ability to integrate multiple data sources to drive comprehensive insights. The ability to present insights in a compelling narrative to senior leadership, and to communicate complex research findings in a clear and concise manner. Strong business acumen and understanding of the telecom industry, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.
