• **MUST LIVE IN IDAHO NO EXCEPTIONS***** Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Remote Triage Nurse (Full-Time, On-Call) Schedule: - Hours: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (overnight) - Work Environment: 99% Work From Home - Schedule Type: Full-Time - Weekends: Rotating weekends required (on-call triage) + rotating holidays - Training: In-person training required for 3 weeks during daytime hours PRIOR to start of full-time from home work Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: $3,500- $4,000 per month starting - Many opportunities for advancement & increased compensation - Work-from-home (99%) with minimal travel - Supportive leadership and nurse-owned company - Opportunity for advancement within the organization Position Summary: The Remote LPN Triage Nurse provides after-hours telephone triage, symptom assessment, and calm, supportive guidance to patients, families, and caregivers—always delivered with kindness, patience, and professionalism. This role requires exceptional emotional intelligence. The nurse must be able to answer calls of all types—including non-urgent, repetitive, or simple questions—with consistent kindness and respect. Harshness, irritation, rudeness, or impatience is not tolerated in this role. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Triage - Answer all calls promptly during assigned hours. - Provide telephone triage, symptom assessment, and clinical guidance within LPN scope. - Always speak with kindness, patience, and a supportive tone, regardless of the caller’s knowledge level or concern. - Escalate to an on-call RN or leadership when needed. - Offer reassurance to caregivers and facility staff, maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor. Professional Kindness Standard (Non-Negotiable) - Treat every caregiver, patient, family member, and facility staff member with extreme kindness, even when calls are repetitive, non-urgent, or based in confusion. - Demonstrate empathy and respect at all times. - Maintain a “no frustration on the phone” standard. - This is a must for this position and will be part of performance expectations. Documentation & Communication - Document each call briefly for follow-up site visits. - Maintain clear, concise, and accurate communication with the nursing team. Team Collaboration - Work with site nurses for follow-up needs. - Report patterns, concerns, or safety issues to leadership and/or site nurses promptly. Qualifications: - Active Idaho or Compact LPN license - At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (home health, hospice, assisted living, or triage preferred, but NOT required) - Strong verbal communication and emotional control - High tolerance for a wide range of caller personalities - Reliable internet and quiet workspace for overnight calls - Excellent documentation skills - Ability to work independently and stay alert overnight - Must demonstrate kindness as a core personality trait Physical & Work Requirements: - Must have stable high-speed internet and phone - Must complete 3 weeks of in-person daytime training PRIOR to working full time from home - Must be able to remain available, alert, and calm throughout overnight shifts (okay to sleep between phone calls) How to Apply: Candidates may submit a resume to [email protected].
