Senior Recruiter The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for 2030 open positions across food distribution locations, primarily supporting exempt roles in Supply Chain, Sales, Sales Support, and HR. This role requires a strong sourcing background, the ability to support multiple hiring managers across various field locations, and the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities include resume review, phone screens, candidate engagement, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and advising on staffing policies and procedures. The Senior Recruiter will utilize Workday and Phenom to manage candidate pipelines and drive efficient hiring processes. Key Responsibilities • Write and place job advertisements across online and print channels as needed. • Source, screen, and interview applicants to evaluate work history, training, education, and job skills. • Conduct phone screens and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the process. • Arrange interviews with hiring managers and coordinate travel arrangements, when applicable. • Maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs. • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies, procedures, and recruiting best practices. • Manage multiple open requisitions across various field locations. • Utilize ATS systemsprimarily Workday and Phenomto track applicants and maintain accurate documentation. • Extend offers and facilitate follow-up communication between candidates and managers. Must-Have Technical Skills • Strong sourcing background with proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools. • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, Phenom preferred). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Preferred Technical Skills • Prior recruiting experience in supply chain, distribution, sales, and HR. • Experience working within food distribution or manufacturing environments. Soft Skills & Team Fit • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to influence and navigate relationships with hiring managers. • Comfortable conducting candidate screens and staffing calls with HR. • Highly adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills. Education Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience Experience Requirements • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience; 6 years preferred • Experience supporting fast-paced, multi-location recruiting environments • Prefer experience hiring for roles such as: • Warehouse Manager • Transportation Manager • Account Executive • Territory Manager • Experience within distribution or manufacturing industries strongly preferred Additional Role Details • Work Environment: Supportive, fast-paced, communicative, and team-oriented • Training: Approximately 2 weeks • Interview Process: • Two rounds total • Teams (camera on), phone, or in-person • 12 interviewers per round • Travel/OT/Weekends: Not required • Temp-to-Hire: Unlikely in 2025 or early 2026 • Union Work: No Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
