Your responsibilities include critical care support, emergency room assistance, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, and CPR/code team participation. You're also trained in Pulmonary Diagnostics, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and EEG/NCV procedures. Collaborating closely with the healthcare team, you set therapeutic goals, operate diagnostic equipment, and maintain accurate documentation. Licensure/Certification: • Current active license from the State of Maryland Physician Board Quality Assurance (MPBQA). Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). • Current CPR CERTIFICATION. • Definitions of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) are as follows • RR-Registered Respiratory Therapist (Advanced Practitioner) required effective 3/1/2020 • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.Pediatric advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred • Must pass hospital Arrhythmia test within three months. Knowledge/Skills: • Must be able to understand medical terminology, medical anatomy and physiology and toeffectively convey this information in written and verbal format to others. • Strong understanding of pulmonary anatomy and physiology relative to the tests performed. • Should be mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity for equipment troubleshooting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word. Salary Range: Minimum 32.63 per hour - Maximum 53.89 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
