[Remote] UX Designer II, Amazon Delivery Experience

Amazon is seeking a UX Designer to join their team, playing a crucial role in enhancing their global delivery network through innovative technology and human-centered design. The role involves tackling complex operational challenges that bridge digital and physical experiences, ultimately shaping the future of logistics at scale while ensuring worker health and safety. Responsibilities • Execute the design strategy for complex operational systems, considering both immediate needs and long-term scalability • Define and improve design patterns, standards, and processes that can be adopted across teams • Drive cross-functional alignment through effective communication of design decisions and trade-offs • Identify and solve root causes of widespread operational challenges through innovative design solutions • Contribute to design reviews and critiques, ensuring high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams • Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining design integrity • Aggregate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product-level design decisions • Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through data-informed design recommendations • Champion user-centered design practices across the organization Skills • Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders • 5+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences • Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences • An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions • Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products • Expertise with Figma • 5+ years of design experience • 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience • Have an available online portfolio • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar • Experience working on associate-facing software experiences • Executed research plans talking to real customers • Knowledge of design systems • Formal education in Design, Interaction/UX Design or HCI • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs Benefits • Equity • Sign-on payments • Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Company Overview • Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
