[Remote] Sales Representative – Veterinary & Animal Welfare Focus
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Shelters United is a Group Purchasing Organization serving nonprofit animal welfare organizations. They are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to recruit nonprofit animal welfare organizations and promote veterinary products and services from partner companies.Responsibilities• Recruit new nonprofit animal welfare organizations (AWOs) into the GPO.• Promote and sell a wide range of veterinary and animal care products to member organizations.• Maintain consistent high-volume outreach (50–70 calls per day with follow-up emails).• Manage accounts and build strong, ongoing member relationships.• Accurately capture and manage lead and customer data in Salesforce.• Continuously expand product and partner knowledge to better serve member needs.Skills• Veterinary pharmaceutical, animal health, or pet product sales experience and/or experience managing or directing an animal shelter or rescue.• Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.• Success working in a remote, phone-based sales environment with minimal supervision.• Strong time management, customer service, and organizational skills.• Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer applications.Education Requirements• Bachelor’s degreeCompany Overview• Shelters United is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people that save animals.
