Join the Uwill Team as a Licensed Therapist and Make a Difference in the Lives of College Students Uwill is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Therapist to join our team of mental health professionals! As a leading online mental health and wellness company, we provide teletherapy, crisis support, and wellness services to students at over 300 institutions across the country. Our mission is to increase access to mental health support for students, and we're looking for a dedicated therapist to help us achieve this goal. This is a part-time, remote opportunity with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits. With demand for mental health support on college campuses increasing at an estimated seven times the rate of enrollment growth, we're committed to providing students with the resources they need to thrive. Our platform offers a unique blend of teletherapy, crisis support, and wellness services, all delivered at no cost to the student. The Role As a Uwill Licensed Therapist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of college students. You'll offer teletherapy sessions via video, phone, or chat message to students at our partner institutions, working collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality care. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose your own hours and work from any quiet, professional location in the US. Key Responsibilities: Manage an ongoing caseload of clients from initial session to graduation from care Conduct video, telephone, or chat sessions with students Utilize evidence-based practices and SMART goals tailored to student needs Practice culturally competent care to meet the needs of a diverse client base, including but not limited to: First-time therapy seekers BIPOC students LGBTQ+ students First-generation students Veterans Athletes Adhere to the risk assessment and management process of Uwill, including assessing for risk during the initial session with a student and as needed thereafter Complete session notes within time frame expectations Respond to student messages in a timely manner Requirements Essential Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling) 2 years of experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting using a variety of modalities Independent license to practice mental health therapy without supervision (e.g., LPC/LMHC, LCSW/LICSW, LMFT, or PsyD) Professional liability insurance HIPAA-compliant professional and secure location to perform sessions Ability to provide sessions via Zoom on a computer or device with a camera and microphone Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with college students or young adults Familiarity with evidence-based practices and SMART goals Experience with crisis assessment and management Multilingual or ability to provide therapy sessions in multiple languages Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Uwill Licensed Therapist, you'll need: Excellent interpersonal and listening communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical-thinking skills, and sound judgment Proven ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of people of various ages and backgrounds, student developmental needs, nationality, culture, faith/religion, language difference, ability differences, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression Ability to work with a wide range of individuals presenting mental health concerns across broad levels of acuity, including first-time therapy seekers Ability to assess risk and refer to Uwill's Clinical Support team as needed Ability to respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet students where they are Benefits and Perks As a Uwill Licensed Therapist, you'll enjoy: Flexibility - Choose your own schedule with the option to change/update availability as you see fit Minimal Admin or Paperwork - Simple note taking (in comparison to insurance-based requirements) Expand Your Practice - Work specifically with students, grow your client base, and add a lucrative earning stream/supplemental income while contributing to the mission of providing access to mental health care to an underserved population of students Training - Free unlimited CEU courses, specialized training, and support through monthly clinical panels and seminars Connections - Network with a global community of mental health providers Multi-State License Stipend and Support Program - Financial assistance and administrative support with adding additional state licenses Competitive hourly rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 4-10 per week Work Environment and Company Culture At Uwill, we're committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
