Job Summary As a Line Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance operation of our line station. You will conduct and support all maintenance inspections during scheduled missions, ensuring that our aircraft are airworthy and ready for flight. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Operations: Conduct and support all maintenance inspections during scheduled missions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures. Safety and Quality: Promote and support safety, security, and quality as a fundamental function of the overall responsibility. Workforce Management: Plan, organize, and schedule workloads to meet operational commitments, ensuring efficient use of manpower and resources. Inventory Management: Recommend stocking levels for line stations, order and document parts, and coordinate with Materials to ensure necessary paperwork is completed. Communication: Advise Maintenance Control of aircraft out-of-service and/or planned out-of-service problems, and estimate time required to complete work and return-to-service. Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot items and affect repair or oversee the troubleshooting and repair of company aircraft to assure that aircraft return to service as soon as possible. Documentation: Ensure that all aircraft records and maintenance paperwork packages are complete, correct, and sent to Quality Control in a timely manner. Travel: Ride on company aircraft, as required, to ensure that maintenance, maintenance documentation, and aircraft handling are performed in accordance with company approved procedures. Essential Qualifications: Valid Airframe and Powerplant License: Hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P). Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of proven line maintenance experience on 747/MD-11 aircraft or equivalent. Passport and Driver's License: Hold a valid passport and driver's license. Travel: Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictate (up to 20 days per month). Preferred Qualifications: Additional Experience: Experience with other aircraft types or in a similar role. Leadership Skills: Experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills and Competencies: Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repair. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
